Combination |
Kevin’s Landscaping Inc. Saline, Michigan This project’s client wanted to transform their old concrete patio into an accommodating patio that included a seating area. The two 16 foot paver circles gives the feeling of two separate spaces that are functional for entertaining and the seating area was created to provide permanent seating for relaxing. |
Hallam Residence The homeowner wanted a backyard living space that could be utilized for entertainment purposes while maintaining a sense of privacy. Wilson Landscape Associates achieved this by incorporating a multi-level paver patio with multiple living spaces, including an outdoor grill and water feature. |
Mills Residence The biggest challenge for this project was constant evolution and growth from both the contractor and homeowner. The end result was a backyard oasis that included multiple patios, a walking/golf cart through the woods and a motor court. |
| Concrete Paver |
Keppler Residence The client wanted a patio large enough to entertain and access to the patio from their four seasons room and driveway. Kevin’s Landscaping achieved this by using antiqued, textured pavers and installing them in a random pattern. A long winding seating wall was also added for entertaining. |
Zacharia Residence The project’s design and construction challenges included a 20 foot elevation change, limited equipment access, soil and tree removal, erosion control, etc. The final outcome of the hardscape project created a visual and functional entertaining area for the homeowner that captured the natural earth tones found in the surrounding area. |
Crespi Residence One of the most significant challenges to this project was the site preparation due to the intricacies of the pool design, elevation changes and pool proximity to the bluff. With more than 5,000 square feet of pavers used, the homeowners now have a beautiful, functional outdoor living area. |
| Clay Brick |
Dewey Residence The objectives of this project were to provide a smooth, fluid transition from the front of the home to the back, add privacy to the backyard and create to view the lake. The clay brick was incorporated into and preserved the natural beauty of the lake home. |
Private Residence The homeowners chose clay bricks for this project because the old-world, elegant look harmonized with the traditional Georgian Colonial style of their home. The brick added warmth and color to the space and also helped direct the eye around the property. |
| Segmental Retaining Wall |
Premer Residence The client wanted a patio that would tie in with the stone front of their home as well as provide a comfortable, outdoor sitting area. The contractor overcame the challenges of the uneven site by extending the retaining wall to include a seating wall. |
Schmidt Residence This project had many challenges including space limitations and removal of an existing, non-performing retaining wall. The new wall provides stability for the garage and driveway as well as safety for the family. |
